I am a traveling techie hailing from the Pacific Northwest. I've kicked secure corporate employment for travel.
I graduated college in 2012. I stumbled into a career restaurant technology for a brand that I love, Papa Murphy’s, in my hometown Vancouver, Washington. And it was fun. There was not a hat that I didn’t wear. I furthered my technical knowledge and improved my soft skills. I met people who will be my friends and mentors for life. I found a niche in something I care about but all that is good must come to an end. I can find that again.
However, the passage of time is real. I have a limited amount to pursue experiences. So I’m taking a break. 2016 is a year to document my travels, improve my language skills, backpack through nature, meet new people, delve deeper into my cartographic and data hobbies, and entertain the romance of youth.
